It is hard to express in words how much I really enjoy being a part of someone´s wedding day. The emotional feelings of friendship, love and support that not only myself, but many of the wedding guests pick up on throughout the course of a wedding day, leaves us all going home feeling overjoyed and rather special to have had the privilege of sharing many beautiful memorable moments. I feel extremely privileged that many of the wonderful couples I have had the pleasure of working with and getting to know while working as an MC and Wedding DJ and throughout the entire planning process leading up to and including their wedding day have become good friends and stayed in touch with me after their wedding!
My passion and enjoyment of music first lead me to embark on my journey as a mobile DJ almost 20 years ago. At that time I was involved in the photography industry and also worked part-time as a resident club DJ at Governors Tavern in Hamilton. In 1997 I founded Sounzgood DJ Entertainment, employing and training other mobile DJs. The following year I became a self-employed mobile DJ full time and have been doing this ever since! I personally have performed for well over 300 weddings and more than 250 school balls as well as many other formal functions… I always keep myself abreast of the new technology, I attend training classes and overseas DJ conferences (the last one being in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas DJ Show in 2014) and network with other DJs worldwide. I enjoy learning new skills and developing new and interesting ways to entertain. I am an experienced DJ, MC (Master of Ceremonies) and public speaker. I am extremely delighted to have been recommended by some of the Waikato´s top wedding venues.
